RED VELTLINER Ried Dorner 2016 – organic

A decent floral scent, very typical smelling like white fruit aroma and almonds. This very rare type of wine is very elegant and cool on the palate. With some air in the glass comes a certain fruity, mineral spice and a potpourri of floral aroma. The wine captures the palatine and resonates for a long time. Good ripening potential.

Perfect accompaniment to white meat or sea food.

CUVEE WAGRAM 2017 – organic

Decent and (currently) conservative in its scent of yellow fruits, tenderly floral and only with air in the glass one can smell the tender exotic aroma from pineapple and passion fruit. On the palate very decent and gracefully built. Whether too powerful, nor to acid-stressed. Creamy-meltig with a slight Loess-touch in the background, luscious, dry with a nice echo. Charming all-rounder

GELBER MUSKATELLER (Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains) Ried Brunnthal 2017 – organic

Typically spicy and floral in fragrance and on the palatine the taste of nutmeg, lime, lychee – but never pushy, always decent. With an extraordinary vitality and a lovely fruit-acidity. Makes you want to take the next sip. A perfect appetizer – very good in companion with cold fish plates like Cevice or Sushi

CHARDONNAY Barrique 2016  –  organic

Slightly juvenile yet but already very inviting with aroma from yellow sugar melons, a touch of ginger and the scent of a freshly baked croissant. On the palatine crunchy, juicy fruit, vital and stimulating. Fine structure and good balance make the wine a perfect accompaniment to chicken or potato salad.

PINOT BLANC 2017

The scent is dominated by nuts. Green walnut, almonds, a little bit of pine nuts and pears, very typical. Even on the palatine white fruit aroma, tender citrus taste. A perfect accompaniment for mushroom dishes.

GREEN VELTLINER – OLD VINES 2016

In its scent very powerful and inviting with ripe yellow fruit aroma, a touch of caramel, passion fruit, but also spicy meadow herbals. A wonderful typical Veltliner, even on the palatine full-bodied, also juicy, fruit-accented, widely elegant and yet vital. Can be stored at the right temperature for quite a while in order to develop the full taste.

GREEN VELTLINER Ried Brunnthal
WAGRAM SELECTION 2017

Inviting scent of grape fruit, ripe apples and honeydew melons and of course the very typical herbal spice. Very juicy and powerful on the palatine with a vital fruit-acidity. A very typical Wagram-Veltliner with a good storage potential. Goes very well with spicy and hearty dishes, where one would normally recommend Red Wines.

RIESLING 2017

Currently cautious in scent of citrus but on the palatine very juicy and fruit-accented. This wine needs time and air to fully evolve. It’s recommended to decant this very mineral-herbal wine as well as a few months in the cellar would help to fully unfold its potential. Very suitable for shells, octopus and general spicy food.
